1. Sing your chosen song in the appropriate key for you – so you can change the key of the song (with a backing track or musical accompaniment)

2. Have a maximum 30 second introduction before you begin to sing. You MUST state your name, where you are from and the name of the song you have chosen to sing.
For example: “Hi, my name is John. I’m from London and this is my entry for the Honest Vocal Coach Singing Competition. I’ll be singing ‘Dangerous Woman’ by Ariana Grande”
Entries without an introduction will be disqualified.

3.The length of your video entry must be no longer than 1 minute and your face must be seen in the video. If you get through to the TOP 20 you may be asked to film another song.  If you get through to the TOP 5, you WILL be asked to film more songs.

4. One entry per person. You cannot change your video after entry.

5. Your video SHOULD be filmed in landscape.

6. NO Acapella entries will be accepted.

7. NO entries utilising auto-tuning software will be accepted. Compression and reverb is allowed.

8. No Smule videos will be accepted.

9. This competition is ALLSTARS meaning all previous competitors may compete again, even those from the last competition earlier this year.

10. All entries will receive a brief critique on the Honest Vocal Coach Youtube Channel.

11. Deadline for entries is 17th October 2021 – 12 noon.

From all the entries the Honest Vocal Coach will decide upon both a top 20 then the top 10 which will be critiqued on the Honest Vocal Coach YouTube channel.
